Pet Savers is a non-profit animal rescue and placement organization. We love animals and want all of them to have happy homes.

This takes money.

The following animals are NOT being sheltered through Pet Savers, but also need homes.

We are happy to help place pets, but we also run a shelter. Our $80 adoption fee doesn't cover the average expenses for maintaining a cat or a dog. If you find an animal through our website, please help us by donating through Just Give.

Marley (	Female)		I found this young female beagle while I was working in Stonewall last week. She was really skinny and didn't have a collar. I don't know if she is spayed, has shots, or how old she is. She is scheduled to be spayed for free at robinson's rescue on March 30, 2010. Her name is Marley, and she is a really sweet and energetic dog. She would go great with kids because she is real submissive. She might have been abused at some point in her life. Pizza Dog (	Female)		Hi! My name is "Pizza Dog" and I am a female, estimated less than 1 year old black lab (?) dog.I am a sweet and friendly rescued young dog and I love to play. Penny (	Female)		I am a one year old German Shepherd mix. I’m spayed and UTD on my shots and housetrained. I walk pretty good on a leash, ride well in a car, know basic commands and will fetch. I like to talk to you to ask for things. It’s not a bark, but I actually talk. Too bad humans can’t understand me. Bark! My owners live in a rural area and really don’t have a place to keep me while I’m outside. I do really well with kids and actually live with SEVEN of them! I get along with other dogs, but not sure about cats, ‘cause I’ve never lived with them. I’m a big girl… maybe about 45 pounds or so. I’d make the perfect family dog! Millie (	Female)		I’m an 8-9 month old yellow lab/border collie mix of some sort. I’m housetrained and good with other dogs. I don’t know my own size and may be too much for small children. With training, though, I know I could learn not to jump. I’m UTD on shots. My adoption fee is $60, which will get you a voucher to get me spayed asap! Allanon (	Male)		Bark! I’m the smartest doggie you will ever meet! I’m a Border Collie… possibly dalmation mix. I know how to sit, stay, and lay down. I also know some “clap commands” that my owner can show you. I also understand some Korean! Yeah… that’s right… I am multi-lingual! I am 4 years old, UTD on shots, neutered, and on heartworm preventive. I’m housetrained, great with kids, other dogs, and cats. I have one vice, though… I don’t like meter readers! Bark! My owners hate to find me a new home, but they are military and moving to a place where they can’t take me. There is a screening process to adopt me and my adoption fee is $30.00. Dixie (	Female)		Hi my name is Dixie. I am the sweet smaller black dog in this picture. My mom is having to move and cannot take me with her so I am looking for a new home. I am a 6 month old Fiest mix. I am 90% housebroken, crate trained and will make a great companion dog. I love children and get along well with other dogs (even big scary ones like the one I’m cuddling with). I am wormed and my owner will pay for shots. Dusty (	Male)		My name is Dusty. I weigh about 5 lbs, have blond and whitish long hair. I look a lot like a long-haired chihuahua. I was found running around outside a bowling alley headed toward a busy highway. I was caught and brought to my present home where there are two other inside dogs. The vet said I was around four months old at the time. I am over a year old now. I love to play and especially like kids. I need a family to take me as I don't get as much attention now as I should have. I use the outside when I am put out and I sleep in a pet taxi which I go in willingly when my present owner leaves the house. I am up-to-date on my shots and I am neutered. Mary's Pups (	Various)		Ruf! I’m one of four cute and cuddly puppies. Our Mommy is Momma Dog and her profile is posted on here too! We are various sexes and colors. Our Mommy is small, so we may be small too… but we don’t know who our daddy is… so, we may end up being bigger than our mommy. We and our Mommy were dumped in Mary’s yard about 3 weeks ago and Mary hasn’t been able to find us homes. We are timid and shy right now… but in the right home, I know we’ll warm up. Our adoption fee is $60 which will get you a voucher to get us spayed/neutered when we come of age. Right now, we are probably about two and half months old. Momma Dog (	Female)		Do you have the keys? I’m ready to roll! I’m a super sweet, small mix breed that was dumped, along with my four puppies, in the yard of Mary. She’s had us for about 3 weeks and has been unable to find us homes so far. My puppies are under “Mary’s pups”. I’m extremely sweet and friendly and weigh probably only about 20 pounds. I’m excellent with children, other dogs, and cats. I’m not sure how old I am, but based upon my teeth… I’m probably under two years old. Lucy (	Female)		Hi! I wandered up to a daycare in Benton and saw lots of kids, so I stayed to play, but forgot how to get home. All of the kids started going home and I started getting sad and wondering around in the road. One of the parents tried really hard to find my owners but no one claimed me. I love playing with their little girls, dogs, and the cats aren't so bad either. I now have to stay outside, though because I got REALLY bored when they were gone all day and tore up a lot of stuff that was supposed to go to Goodwill. I didn't mean to, but it looked so FUN, and I couldn't resist. They gave me some toys to play with, and now I know not to play with anything else. I have been named "Lucy" after Lucille Ball because I can be downright Goofy sometimes. I get really scared and try to hide when new people come around, but I warm up to them easily. They say I am a Lab mix of some sort, but I am small and only weigh about 40 lbs. I will make a wonderful family member to add to your growing family, and I am waiting patiently for my forever home. My foster family is working on the details of getting my shots and getting me spayed, but they take in a lot of strays and have a large vet bill already, so they would appreciate it if my forever family could take care of that. Mickey Mouse (	Male)		Hi! My name is Mickey Mouse because I have a Mickey Mouse head on my side. I am a 5 year old, male Parson Russell Terrier. I’ve been neutered, I’m UTD on my shots, and I am on Heartworm and Flea and Tick preventatives. Until I was 3 I lived with two large dogs and we got along fine. But I do not get along with small dogs at all. I also can be nervous sometimes and I’m not good around young children. I think I would be happy in a quiet home with no other pets.
