Oh, do we have a story for you. This sweet Chihuahua was originally adopted from Pet Savers back in 2019. Recently, we received a call from Caddo Parish Animal Services about this very dog. It turns out the current owner had requested the dog be euthanized simply because they no longer wanted her. Mind you, this isn’t the original owner who adopted her from us. Sadly, this poor pup has been passed around from person to person over the years. But here’s the twist: upon inspection, Caddo realized that the dog is in good health, isn’t aggressive, and is as sweet as can be. Thanks to her microchip linking her back to us, they reached out to see if we’d take her in—and of course, we said yes! So, long story short, Perry is back with us now. She’ll be getting a thorough vet check soon, but based on her personality alone, she’s an absolute gem.
